Uganda’s First Secretary at the Ugandan embassy in Juba, South Sudan is dead.
Richard Okello Mwaka died Thursday morning at his home in Iceme, Oyma district.
Sources close to the family say that whereas Okello Mwaka has been battling high blood pressure, his condition deteriorated when he fell in the bathroom.
“He slid on his bathroom tiles and fell down uncontrollably. He was wounded. Coupled with his pressure, he didn’t live long,” a family source told Kampala Gazette.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is yet to comment on Okello Mwaka’s death.
