With the 2026 political situation continuing to build up, the voters are starting to smile as political pockets start to empty.

For some time now, there were rumors that Amolatar LCV Chairman Geoffrey Ocen Kiring was eyeing Kioga North MP seat and restricting incumbent MP James Olobo to Amolatar (read retirement) and not Dubai.

It appears that it is no longer a rumor that Ocen has interest in the seat. This as he paraded three new ambulances for Kioga North constituency on Saturday.
His voters lined up at the border between Kaberamaido and Amolatar to welcome the new rides.
The ambulances are worth about Shs 450 million, an aide said.
Amolatar faces the challenge of fully effecting the functionality of its facility. The facility lacks medical equipment and drugs, among other things.
