For a long time, Kira Municipality has been a no-go area for any other politician apart from Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC). However, most of his races were against ruling party candidates as well as DP candidates. This explains why he has enjoyed the Kira Municipality MP seat since 2016. However, it looks like the tables could term in 2026. This, after the lawyer of Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, has joined the race. Although George Musisi is yet to make his interests officially known, the poster is already making the rounds on social media.
