A financial institution has put up an apartment in Kyanja for sale.
The apartment is registered under the name Shem Kakembo Kamukamu.
According to a notice this publication has seen, the financial institution shall proceed to sell by public auction /private teary the property mentioned below and developments thereon below under the mortgage act no. 8 2009 and regulations made there under unless the borrower/debtor pays all the monies owed principle and interest plus our fees, costs, and disbursements to the registered mortgage before the date of sale.”
City law firm, Kampala Associated Advocates (KAA) says that the property shall be sold off in 30 days from March 24, 2025.
Tenants have been asked to leave within 14 days from today, March 23, 2025. “Failure shall lead to forceful eviction at your costs and embarrassment,” reads part of the notice.
