Mandatory pregnancy tests at IUIU stirs fresh controversy

A notice demanding female students undergo mandatory pregnancy tests at the Islamic University of Uganda (IUIU) has stirred fresh controversy.
The notice dated September 16, 2023, appoints Wednesday, September 20, 2023, to September 26, 2023, as a period to carry out the tests. The exercise is compulsory for female students. No reason is attached to it.
“All should go for the test without excuse,” warns the notice.
However, the exercise has caused fresh controversy.

Mandatory pregnancy screening among female students at the university level is madness and unjust.
Faith should not be an excuse for invasion of privacy, and adulthood must be upheld.

Upon reporting to My current University in USA 🇺🇸, it is mandatory for all international students to do a TB test, provide proof of tDapMMR,MR and Varicella Vaccination.
Respect the rules of someone’s house, and you will have no problems.
