Ugandans, especially on X, are mourning the passing of businessman Kenneth Kaijuka, who died in a road crash over the weekend between Mityana and Fort Portal.

The road has been under construction for some time now, with X users blaming the crash on the slow pace of the works. “How many more people need to die along this road for them to wake up?” wondered Phiona Kabatalya.
“This is why we insist on completion of this road. At the very least, can we have forward maintenance from the contractor?” said Raymond Mujuni.
Kaijuka was a businessman who dealt in coffee in Kyenjojo.
His body will be laid to rest on Tuesday.
