Ugandans, especially the Basoga, have this Thursday been left smiling from ear to ear after the Kyabazinga of Busoga, King Nadiope IV, made the long-awaited announcement.

The King and his handlers announced Jovia Mutesi as the Inebantu (Queen of Busoga).

This followed their traditional marriage in Mayuge. A wedding has been scheduled to occur on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Christ Cathedral in Bugembe.

Not much is known about Mutesi. Partly, it could be that she is not anywhere on social media.

However, she is an old girl of Namagunga Girls’ School and an alumni of Makerere University.
