At the ongoing Kampala Auto Show, the spotlight is not only on fuel-powered vehicles but also on the future of transport, with electric mobility brands Spiro and eBee taking center stage.
While many exhibitors are showcasing conventional cars, the two companies are using the three-day event to promote electric bikes as a cleaner and more sustainable alternative for urban travel.
Spiro Uganda recently unveiled singer Fik Fameica as its brand ambassador.
Spiro, a major player in electric motorcycles, is drawing attention with its display of eco-friendly models, while eBee, a electric bicycle producer, is also showcasing its products to visitors at the exhibition. Their presence reflects the growing interest in electric mobility as Kampala’s auto industry gradually embraces greener transport solutions.
The Kampala Auto Show began on Friday and is scheduled to end on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Beyond the usual roar of fuel engines, the event is offering a glimpse into what many see as the next chapter of mobility in Uganda.
