The vehicle costs shs 3.5 billion
Exhibitors continued to showcase a wide range of vehicles at the Kampala Auto Show, which opened on Friday and is set to close today, Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Among the standout displays was the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), the business arm of the UPDF, which attracted car fans with one of its flagship projects — an armored vehicle designed for security purposes.
Sources say the armored car is sold on order to both local and security entities, and costs about Shs 3.5 billion.
The high-end vehicle became one of the most talked-about attractions at the show, drawing interest from attendees impressed by its design and specialized use.
