Reports in the corridors indicate that Uganda’s Allan Okello could be on his way to Morocco, barely a year after joining Tanzanian giants Yanga Africans from Vipers SC.
The midfielder, who has impressed during his time in Tanzania, is now said to have attracted interest from a Moroccan club, with sports journalist Andrew Kabuura suggesting that the move may already be taking shape.
“@EXCLUSIVE!!! Tanzanian giants Yanga have agreed a fee with a Moroccan club (not Wydad) for the transfer of Allan Okello 🇺🇬 ” Kabuura said in a post on X. He added ” Personal terms to be discussed today.”
Reports indicate that the Moroccan side is willing to pay more than Shs 2.6 billion for the Ugandan international, though the deal is yet to be officially confirmed. For now, the gossip around Okello’s next destination continues to gather pace.
