Solomon Serwanjja
Veteran broadcast journalist Solomon Serwanjja has declared interest in contesting for Local Council One chairman of Bamutakudde Village in Ddundu Parish, Kyampisi Subcounty, Mukono District.
According to a poster seen by this publication, Serwanjja will compete in the poll set for Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Serwanjja, who serves as executive director of the African Institute of Investigative Journalism (AIIJ), is joining the race in a country that has 71,214 villages and cells.
