Despite their cost, Museveni’s two armoured vehicles are cheaper than Speaker Anita Among’s newest addition—a Rolls‑Royce valued at about Shs 3.5 billion, which is above the price of each of Museveni’s cars.
Anita Among’s Rolls Royce
The Rolls‑Royce arrived in Uganda months ago but was reportedly stuck at URA over a tax bill of Shs 1.6 billion, and only became public knowledge after details of the tax dispute leaked.
The car was later cleared following the intervention of President Yoweri Museveni, but its arrival has sparked heated debate among Ugandans.
