Roko Construction has been given a contract to build UBOS Statistics House in Entebbe.
The project was launched days ago.
While presiding over the event, Finance Minister Henry Musasizi appealed to Roko to complete the project on time, uphold quality standards, and ensure value for money.
However, this comes after Roko has failed to complete the new Parliamentary Chambers. Roko got the contract to execute the new building between 2016 and 2017. The new chamber was to be completed in 2020. However, to date, there are no signs of completion.
This, as Ugandans continue to lose trust in Roko.
‘’Will most definitely, because it has been given to LOko, take about 12 years to get done,’’ said Daniel Bwambale on X after UBOS announced Roko as contractor for UBOS Statistics House.
