RIP: Dr.Mubiru
Police in Seeta have arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of Dr. Peter Mubiru, a radiography specialist attached to Happy Doctor Clinic.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the suspects—identified as Mususwa Abubaker, Olowo Joshua, Muyanja George, and Basibu Umar—were apprehended following intelligence-led operations.
Dr. Mubiru was attacked on April 19, 2026, at around 7:00 PM in Bagala Zone, Goma Division, Mukono Municipality, as he returned home. He sustained severe head injuries and was later pronounced dead at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
Police say investigations are ongoing, including efforts to recover exhibits and obtain a postmortem report.
Authorities have pledged to provide further updates as inquiries progress.
