Kyambogo University is mourning the death of Okia Aaron, a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student (Reg. No. 24/U/BKE/10979/PE), after he was reported missing several days ago and his body was recovered today.
The university guild announced his passing yesterday, expressing deep sorrow and offering condolences to family, friends, and classmates.
According to a post by Okasio George, Okia went missing on Wednesday and had been traced for several days before his body was found.
Preliminary findings suggest he was attacked by thugs and hit with a paver.
Burial arrangements indicate he will be laid to rest in Kibale County, Pallisa District.
