RIP: Mulindwa
The body of a senior official from the Ministry of Water and Environment has been found at his residence in Lira City, authorities have confirmed.
The deceased has been identified as Eng. Leviticus Doncan Mulindwa, who was attached to the Ministry’s Northern Region office based in Lira.
Details surrounding the circumstances of his death were still unclear by press time. Police have not yet issued an official statement on whether foul play is suspected.
Mulindwa’s death was confirmed by his brother, David Matovu, who said the family was making burial arrangements.
“He will be laid to rest on Monday, March 2, 2026, in Gayaza, Masaka,” Matovu said.
Eng. Mulindwa served as a water and environment engineer and was involved in overseeing government water projects in northern Uganda.
Investigations into the cause of death are ongoing.
