Persis Namuganza
The Minister of State for Lands, Persis Namuganza, has added a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree to her academic credentials after completing her studies at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU).
IUIU confirmed Namuganza’s achievement in a congratulatory message posted on X (formerly Twitter), describing her as a Bachelor of Laws finalist.
“Warm congratulations to Hon. @NamuganzaPersis, a Bachelor of Laws finalist, on your election as Member of Parliament for Bukono Constituency. Your journey is a true inspiration to many. Wishing you impactful leadership and success in service,” the university said.
Namuganza, who was recently re-elected Member of Parliament for Bukono Constituency, now adds the law degree to her growing list of academic qualifications.
Former Speaker of Parliament and First Deputy Prime Minister, Rebecca Kadaga, also congratulated the minister, hailing her achievement as a source of pride for the Busoga sub-region.
“Congratulations Hon. Namuganza on this achievement. Busoga is proud of you,” Kadaga said.
