Tropical Bank has partnered with the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) in a bid to see the game grow.

The Crested Cranes Under 20 team is currently preparing for the game against Ghana at home.

On Wednesday morning, Tropical Managing Director Joweria Mukalazi paid them a visit at the KCCA Grounds in Lugogo. Mukalazi’s visit was on the invitation of FUFA Competitions Committee Chairperson and former Minister Florence Nakiwala Kiyingyi.

Introducing her guest, Kiyingyi said the partnership will see the development of football resulting in unity and economic development and have more people bank with Tropical Bank.

In an interview with this online publication, Mukalazi told the media to “expect great support from Tropical Bank”

“Anybody would want to be part of the winning team. We are excited to be part of the winning team. This is the beginning of so many good things. You will be seeing us very often in most of the games and activities of this particular team.”

Also on board is Uganda Airlines. Their Manager Corporate Affairs & PR Shakila Rahim Lamar told the media that “we are excited to be part of the U20. We are excited for the girls. Uganda Airlines is all about nurturing talent/sports and the young people. So, we want to partner with FUFA and any other sports because we think that sports binds everyone and that’s what Uganda Airlines is all about. We want to bring the airline to the people and we think this is the best place to start.”
