President Yoweri Museveni has this evening appointed Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Tumusiime Kasigazi as the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

Kasigazi replaces the late Lt Gen Paul Lokech who passed on last year.

According Faruk Kirunda, the President’s Deputy Press Secretary, the President has also renewed the contract of the Commissioner General of Prisons, Dr. Johnson Byabashaija.
