High Court Slashes Besigye’s Bail Cash From Shs 30 Million To Shs 3 Million
High Court has slashed bail cash earlir slapped against Dr. Kizza Besigye from Shs 30 million to Shs 3 million.
Buganda Road Magistrates Court about a week ago asked Besigye to pay Shs 30 million for bail. Besigye declined to pay the said money but asked his lawyers to appeal the decision.
Appearing before the High Court this morning, Judge Elubu Micheal reviewed Rtd. Col. Dr Kizza Besigye’s bail from Shs 30 million to Shs 3 Million cash.
Besigye is battling charges of illegal protests and unlawfully convening a gathering.
