With deep sadness, I have learnt of the demise of H.E José Eduardo dos Santos, former President of the Republic of Angola. I wish to convey our deepest and heartfelt condolences to H.E Joao Lourenco, the Santos family and the people of Angola upon this loss.

The legacy left by President Dos Santos will live on long after he is gone and stand out for posterity. He was indeed a true statesman and visionary and shall remain a defining figure in the history of our times. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
