Amuriat fires back at Ssemujju, Lukwago: You’re all new in FDC
Following a meeting of a section of FDC party members plotting to throw out the Amuriat leadership on grounds of receiving money from the NRM, the Party’s President, Patrick Amuriat says those plotting his exit are new.
In their meeting at Nsambya Sharing Hall yesterday, Ssemujju Nganda (FDC Spokesman) and Erias Lukwago (FDC Vice President – Buganda) accused Amuriat and Nandala Mafabi (FDC Secretary General) of getting NRM money in the run up to the 2021 general polls.
However, Amuriat denies the accusation.
“We treat it with the content it deserves,” Amuriat told the New Vision last evening.
He added that actions of the Ssemujjus “is demeaning the intelligence of FDC.”
I’m not surprised, he added. ” Ssemujju is new. Lukwago is also new to the party.”
According to Amuriat, the duo does not “know the pain that FDC has had to endure in building the party.”
Amuriat and Mafabi are expected to address the media on Wednesday at the FDC headquarters in Najjanankumbi.
