A parking attendant in Kampala is in trouble after crashing a client’s brand new Range Rover Sport.

The incident happened on Sunday night along Robert Mugabe Road.

“The Range Rover joined Robert Mugabe Road at high speed without stopping, t-boned the Raum, which had a pregnant woman and kids, tried to run away, was blocked by a boda, and the Range Rover drove over the boda and fled away,” an eyewitness, Christopher Buni, tweeted.

However, he was intercepted meters away after he failed to negotiate a corner.

“He failed to negotiate a turn at the next junction and rammed straight into the wall. He was caught this time as he got out of the car and tried to run,” Buni added.

Marcella Karekye, the Special Presidential Assistant-Communication and Director of the Government Citizen Interaction Centre (GCIC), says that upon further investigation, the driver is a parking attendant!

“I feel so sorry for victims and car owner!”
