Police’s Directorate of Crime Intelligence (CI) has in custody a prominent city land grabber, Yusuf Ssemakula.

A well-placed source says Ssemakula was arrested about five days ago after fleecing a well-connected woman Shs 800 million in a fake land deal.

“He is expected to appear before the Anti-Corruption Court in Kampala this afternoon,” a source said.

Before his arrest, Ssemakula operated freely around Kira-Namugongo area, claiming land fraudulently and walking away with it.
