Two Chinese investors have been assaulted and robbed, the Kampala Gazette can exclusively report.

The victims are Liu Quin Shan and Liu Han Bin, both Chinese owners of Nec Watu Automobile Uganda Group.

Well-placed sources say that Shan and Bin were assaulted and robbed by four Chinese nationals.

The source adds that the matter was reported to Seeta Police Station via CRB 430/2024.

Although the police are yet to comment on the matter, irrefutable sources say that the Elgon Police, led by the R/CID/Officer, DPC Industrial Division Police, and a team of detectives, joined CMI and JAT and conducted a search at the Sino Industrial Park, where perpetrators are suspected to be hiding.
