A woman identified as Alison Anna has taken a step in blocking the royal wedding slated for November 18, 2023.
Preparations are on-going to have the Kyabazinga marry Jovia Mutesi this November at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja City.
Through her lawyers of Anne Cuthbert Solicitors Ltd., the said woman claims that she is married to Busoga King, Nadiope IV, and that they have two children.
On top of being married to the Kyabazinga, the woman claims that she supports the King. She claims that she recently paid 1, 755, 00 pounds towards the King’s school fees.
Anne says that she has been the one supporting their home until she learned of the upcoming marriage.
According to Anne, she has invested 20.000. 00 pounds in the Budumbura Farm Business in Uganda. In total, she claims to have spent over 757, 560, 000, 000 pounds in joint businesses. Anne also makes a claim of 74, 841, 000 pounds against the Kyabazinga.
By going in a new marriage, Anne says the Kyabazinga commits an offence of bigamy, which she says is punishable under the United Kingdom law.
