News coming in from the British American Tobacco (BAT) is that Kirunda Magoola has resigned from his position as Managing Director and executive Board member, effective 11 May 2022. Mr. Magoola was appointed to the Board as Managing Director on 1 August 2020.

Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Manager at BAT Uganda.

Now, word moving around is that Magoola has joined Coca Cola and appointed Public Affairs and Communications Director, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, Uganda replacing Simon Kaheru who was appointed Group Head of Public Policy and Partnership as of 01 April 2022.
