PR and Media personality, Cynthia Tumwine, the daughter of Gen. Elly Tumwine has spoken out on her father’s death rumor.
In a tweet last night, she said: “Adversity will teach you so much about human nature.”
That said, she added: “I wouldn’t wish the last 24 hours on anyone.”
“Time travel needs to undo social media because it’s currently in the pits. God is faithful regardless though,” she said, giving Him praise.
Gen. Tumwine is currently hospitalized at Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.
On Saturday night, his family rubbished reports surounding the four-star general’s death.
“On behalf of the family of Gen. Tumwine, we hereby dispel rumours circulating on social media in regards to his health and well-being. Thank you for the love and prayers,” the tweet on Gen. Tumwine’s official account reads.
This is not the first time Gen. Tumwine is being declared dead on social media.
While still serving as Security Minister, the General was declared dead after he ‘disappeared’ from the eyes of the public. At the time, rumors circulated that he was unwell and that he had died.
