Police adjust recruitment dates for PPCs ahead of National Census

The Uganda Police Force has adjusted recruitment dates for interviews of the Probationer Police Constables (PPCs). Over 2000 people are expected to be interviewed across the country starting Monday, May 6, 2024. However, there have been some adjustments to the interviews.

Deputy Police Spokesperson Claire Nabakka says that although schedules for May 6, 2024, to May 9, 2024, remain the same, activity on May 10, 2024, has been affected.

The earlier schedule indicated that interviews would be carried out in the districts of Mukono, Amolatra, Pallisa, Mayuge, Karenga, Katakwi, Koboko, Yumbe, Lyantonde, Otuke, Buvuma, Ntungamo, and Nabilatuk, among others, on May 10, 2024.

However, with the national census scheduled to take place on May 10, 2024, activities in the affected districts have been moved to May 13, 2024.
