Uganda Airlines CEO, Bamuturaki, to oversee operations of 45 Airlines In Africa

Uganda Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Jenifer Bamuturaki has been elected as President of the Africa Airlines Association (AFRAA). Bamuturaki was elected at the Annual General Assembly of the AFRAA between December 11, 2022 and December 13, 2022 in Dakar, Senegal.
The AGA is the biggest aviation Summit in Africa. The summit was convened under the theme: “Acing the Roadmap to Sustainable African Aviation”.
AFRAA brings together 45 African airlines. Prominent among them are RwandAir, Ethiopian Airways, Kenya Airways, South African Airways, Air Botswana, Air Senegal and Mauritius Airlines among others.
With her election, Bamuturaki now takes over from CEO of Air Senegal, Mr. Alioune Badara Fall, to continue the drive to “A sustainable, interconnected and affordable Air Transport industry in Africa where African Airlines become key players and drivers to African economic development” and “promote, serve African airlines and champion Africa’s aviation industry.”
