Uganda’s Oil & Gas projects were designed to have lowest emissions possible – TotalEnergies Uganda
TotalEnergies Uganda General Manager, Philippe Groueix, has said that together with CNOOC Uganda Ltd, the team designed Uganda’s oil and gas projects to the lowest emissions possible.
Speaking at the 3rd Annual National Content Conference at the Serena Hotel in Kampala, Groueix noted that the Oil and Gas sector through the Tilenga Project and Kingfisher, will accelerate Uganda’s social and economic progress, and that “we should all be proud to be associated with the project, despite the negative press.”
“It’s important that the people living within the Oil and Gas operational areas receive positive impact of the project,” Groueix said.
