Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) says Aviation Police are investigating a suspected suicide of Police Constable (PC) Nyeko Bosco Mwaka attached to Aviation Police. 

The incident is believed to have happened in the night at an unknown time at the police barracks.  

The body was discovered in the morning with a bullet wound that went through the chin to the head.

“It has been conveyed to city mortuary at Mulago for a post-mortem,” ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the KMP Deputy spokesman says. “One bullet cartridge and a note addressed to the deceased’s mother have been recovered. They have been submitted for analysis to our Forensics Directorate.”
